Janna Garza
Janna is a mediator and strategic problem solver.
With more than twenty years of experience leading complex initiatives for Fortune 100 companies—including Disney, HP, AT&T, Marriott, and Ford—Janna brings a calm, structured, and human-centered approach to conflict resolution.
Her background in organizational transformation, cross-functional facilitation, complex product development, and high-stakes decision-making gives her a rare ability to navigate emotional, interpersonal, and business conflicts with clarity and compassion.
Janna focuses on family mediation, workplace and partnership disputes, and elder-care decision-making. She blends strategic insight with grounded, trauma-aware practice to help people move forward with dignity and confidence.
She holds a BBA in Business and Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from St. Edward’s University, a foundation that informs her clear, practical, and financially literate style of mediation.
Janna enjoys gardening, staying in shape, and creating art. She is also active in several Fine Arts groups in Austin.


Allen Rothman
A native-New Yorker, Allen Rothman graduated with a BA in Philosophy/Economics from Columbia University with honors and a JD from Harvard Law School. Allen started his legal career as a litigator in New York, representing private clients in contract, corporate, shareholder/partnership, construction, landlord-tenant, civil-rights, employment and divorce disputes. He gradually shifted his focus to transactions, successfully negotiating mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, real estate purchase and leases, and a wide array of commercial arrangements. As general counsel to two public companies in the power and energy infrastructure space, he was responsible for all company legal matters.
Allen understands the factors which drive economic and personal relationships and the disputes which disrupt them. He has developed the knowledge, skills, and creativity to resolve such conflicts efficiently, fairly and durably. Allen will bring this experience and these tools to your mediation with the goal of making it successful.
Allen believes in giving back. Since coming to Austin, he has acted as pro bono counsel to nonprofits throughout Texas and has provided free legal advice to aspiring entrepreneurs in Austin, both under the auspices of Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid. He has served as a board member for nonprofits in New York and Austin which provide social services to justice-involved youth.
Allen enjoys golf, fishing, hiking, art, music, films and watching sports in his spare time.
